Boardwalk was designed to pay homage to the great "Jersey Shore" boardwalks. In addition to several major attractions, Boardwalk is home to many of the park's games and eateries. Once home to the Sarajevo Bobsleds, Boardwalk's signature attraction is Great American Scream Machine, added in 1989. This is one of the tallest looping coasters in the world and still remains a popular attraction after fifteen years. Boardwalk was expanded in 2003 with the addition of Superman: Ultimate Flight, the Northeast's only flying coaster.

Although people love Boardwalk's two major coasters and several thrill rides, the area is also known for it's array of upcharge attractions. Dare Devil Dive, ErUPtion, and Great American Road Race are just a few ways to add an extra thrill to your day. Guests can take a break from their busy day to catch a bite to eat at Ted's Cheesesteaks or Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs.
