I just got back a little while ago, I was at SFNE yesterday. Now I don't remember what parks Shapiro marked as a "no-touch park," but I think SFNE is close or is one of them. The park seemed very family friendly and had no bad crowds. Pandemonium is a HUGE hit. I really hope Gadv gets a ride just like Pandemonium, and soon. I don't remember how I took the day on but I'll just write a little something about each roller coaster.

Batman: The Dark Knight - I wouldn't say it was a bad ride, but I've been on better floorless rides. This one was basically over before I realized I was on it. Rode 1x. 5/10

Cyclone: Why is this ride still up? It has this very bad clank noise in the beginning during the lift and the whole train moves downward and throughout the whole ride you're getting thrown around (in a bad way). Rode 1x 2/10

Flashback: Didn't expect too much from a Vekoma Boomerang. They're mostly all very similar and rough. Rode 1x 4/10

Mind Eraser: I thought this ride was bad and rough until I rode Cyclone. Again I didn't expect much. The ride was decent until the end. Rode 1x 6/10

Mr. Six's Pandemonium: SFNE didn't have many lines because of the weather being bad lately with the rain, as well as school starting for many people. Pandemonium, however, had the longest line in the park every time I went by it. I waited about an hour and was pleased. Next time Gadv gets a new roller coaster, it better be a spinner. Rode 1x 9/10

Poison Ivy's Tangled Train: Small ride. Pretty much the same as Blackbeards. I loved how well done the atmosphere was though. Rode 1x

Superman - Ride of Steel: My new favorite ride up there with El Toro. Everything about it was just awesome. The mist tunnel is my favorite part. Rode 2x (first time in the front) 10/10

Thunderbolt: Decent woodie. Nothing really much to say about it but it was a nice classic ride. Rode 1x 8/10

I am glad you enjoyed superman. However I am amazed you didn't like cyclone. Its rather smooth this season compared to last year. Glad you enjoyed my home park though.

I'm not the biggest fan of cyclone either how ever your right pandemonium is a great ride and I think it deserves more credit than some people give it. Just for some FYI poison ivy is a clone of blackbirds lost treasure or what ever its called.

How was the weight for superman? It's actually never that long when I'm there.

Glad I wasn't there last year then. Your smooth cyclone was really rough to me, glad I never saw you're rough cyclone.

First time we went to S:ROS at 10 when the park opened. The line had to wait outside the entrance because they were still testing. We were pretty far in line and about 20 min later went into the station and went for front row. One train operation in the morning because of low crowds and we waited about another 15 minutes for front instead of boarding the first train in a middle row.

The second time we basically had a walk on in the middle with two train operation. The only reason was because there was a batman show going on that we watched (sat in the splash section near the exit) and we went straight to S:ROS before the crowd got out of the theater. Once we got off the ride we went back to ride again about 10 min later and the queues were being used outside of the station (from all of the people that watched the show) so we skipped it and hit the arcades.

Edit - I also wanted to add how amazed I was with the staff at SFNE. Every person I dealt with seemed to take the job very seriously and continued to be friendly and helpful at the same time. The staff had a lot of control with the crowds. Unlike at Gadv, people were being ejected from the park. Cyclone was temporarily closed for a few min when I was waiting in line because they had to eject someone out of the park for recording with a video camera and dropping it onto the ride at the end after losing grip. I didn't witness any line cutting but with how quiet it was yesterday there was no need to cut.

Sounds like you had a great day at SFNE. I love Cyclone, even though it can get rough, but I just love it. Mr. Six's Pandemonium is a fun ride except it's way too short. If they made the lift hill taller and put in more "levels" within the same footprint, I think that it would make the ride much better.

Thats weird, because Cyclone is my #2 wooden. I rode in the front and found it to be the smoothest wooden coaster behind Toro. Plus it had great lats and airtime.
FP forever!

I rode it in the middle. It could be a front row only ride.. similar to GASM.

Yeah it's smooth in the front and rough everywhere else. A little roughness isn't a bad thing though.

Im glad you liked my home park so much... (and Superman) I agree, and think Pandemonium is a perfect ride for GADV, even though the lines can be a little lengthy for it. I can hopefully head up there soon and get on one of my favorite coasters again :D . Also, Cyclone is a lot of fun, even though very rough, in the back.

Glad you had a great time at SFNE and loved S:RoS. Did you ride any of our great flats?

Cyclone is the best in the back IMO. It is very rough there but has great ejector air. The front is smoother but is just no as interesting. If you can take the roughness, the back is definately the way to go.

Lines don't really phase me, haha. It'd be a good people eater at Gadv and well done for families.

A couple. I remember off the top of my head I rode the one by Pandemonium.. the double inverter. Also the Time Warp ride by Batman. Catapult was closed.
