What's really heartbreaking is that usually when a coaster is taken out of a park it is removed in tact and stored possibly for a new location. Our beloved Scream Machine is just being torn down and being turned into a pile of twisted rubble. In my mind definitely not a fitting way for a classic coaster and a pioneer of the coaster revolution to go out. <_<

That is indeed truly sad to see. I hoping to visit GAdv sometime soon to ride that since I never got a chance to ride Shockwave at my homepark SFGAm. I wanted to be able to experience what Shockwave was, but now I won't be able to. As stated above, it is truly heartbreaking to see a classic coaster get burned, melted, left out to rot, or just used as scrap.
