I don't see what's so great about splashdowns personally. Hopefully it doesn't slow the ride down too much. Nevertheless, I'm excited to see what KI does here.

From what I understand, that's part of the point. A splashdown acts just like a weak magnetic brake (slows the train down smoothly but can't completely stop it) so it's always placed near the end of the ride, when the train is going slow but still fast enough to make a great splash effect.

has anyone played rct 1 or 2 and placed a water section on a wooden coaster, although not completely realistic it slows down the train quite a lot and the train needs enough speed going in to make it back out again

That looks like a Great Bear helix! I always wondered why B&M never made any more rides with that.

It's definitely going to be a hyper, because the trains are the same type as Behemoth @ Canada's Wonderland:

So, KI gets a hyper with staggered seating & a splashdown, and we still may have that diving machine. Everybody wins! (so far)

I'm pretty sure what you're looking at is a normal helix, at the end. It is right before the splashdown, if you can see it.

But this layout looks awesome !

Oh yeah I see that now. But they have a lift hill straight out of the station but returning from the break run they have a turn? That's different.

Apollo's Chariot does this.
