While watching some Family Guy about twenty minutes ago, they had there new 2009 Six Flags Commercial air and I grabbed my camera and filmed it for you guys. They are trying to get into "Resolve" I am guessing for New Years Resolutions? They show the old Medusa a lot, as well as other park shots. It is quite interesting. Cool Commercial. I really enjoyed Great Adventure when I went this past summer.

Interesting, I'm glad to see the commercial contained nothing but footage of Great Adventure so it's nice to see more park specific commercials come into play again. Does this mean they're dropping the More Flags, More Fun campaign? As much as people didn't like it, you have to admit it was catchy.

Umm I wasn't impressed with it... I didn't find it catchy what so ever. I think last years commercials was a whole lot better. I might be stretching this but I don't know if the "resolve" has anything to do with new year resolutions. It does say "Resolve to visit great adventure over and over again." (something along the lines of that). So maybe this is just one of the few commercials that are gonna come out (this one being timed with the end of the year).

I definitely think that the resolve is for New Year's, but I'm not a big fan of it. Repetition is supposedly a key way to get to people though, so it might just be a new strategy for them. I'm glad that they used so much Great Adventure footage. Finally, videos of our own rides advertising our own park.

I agree that its nice to see our own rides but in general i just don't like the commercial at all. There was nothing catch about it, it showed KK over and over, and the commercial in general was just blah. I hope the rest are a lot better.

I hated the "Resolve" every four seconds. And I hope they bring back the "More Flags, More Fun".

It would be even better if they brought back Mr. Six.

I think it's just a seasonal spot. They're pushing into a corner like retailers to get desperate ads out. It's great with the park footage. It eludes still to a Medusa but I think that could change even.

I think it should have had opening day mentioned on the commerical, but maybe it's better if they don't since we don't want a huge crowd that day.
