Check out the new park map that our pals over at Great Adventure History have posted. If you look close enough, Chiller's observatory is marked, and the description reads "'Xploratorium', Interactive laboratory".

Although not official yet, I believe this will be a play house/fun house attraction.
Glad to see it put to good use!

Sounds awesome! I wonder if they will use cool effects in there for the interactions. Or it might be just little props. I hope it's cool!

From what I've heard, it seems like Xploratorium will be like a cross between Fun Factory and Innoventions! Either way, I'm really happy to see th observatory going into good use.

Wouldnt it be great if you go inside and could see TDK through a one way window?!?!?! I mean, a tunnel would have to be built to connect the observatory to TDK building, but still!

This is awesome. I am so interested in the little things Sfgadv does. This is going to bring families into Movietown which we need because it's just a bunch of coaster in there. Just when I though SFI was starting their old ways again.

This is excellent! Movietown really needed a famiy thing now that Musik Express and Autobahn are not around for the season.

When you look at the Movie Town key, is that flash pass corresponding to the "'Xploratorium', Interactive laboratory".

So its going to be turned into an arcade kinda thing?

Hmm, they'll need to do some advertising. Otherwise, people won't know about this.

I hope they do a (much) better job than they did on the Hall of Justice attraction (if you can even call it that) at SFNE and TGE. Those are completely non-interactive and boring.

This seems pretty cool, they should be advertising it a lot more though, I took me a while to find it on the map.

It's awesome to see the park is actually using the old station. I swear when I go in there, I'm just gonna shot "Chiller, Chiller!" over & over. :anim_63:

Very much agreed. A very interesting and unique usage of the observatory and addition to the park. Can't wait to the the final product.
