After 10 years I finally got to Cedar Point. It lived up to the hype. Kings Island was a great park too. My top 10 steel coasters is going to change a lot after Diamondback, Banshee, Millennium Force, Raptor and Maverick are all added in.

I'm going to save it for my last coaster of the night whenever I get to the park next time. The intensity of riding Batman forwards on my last trip a few weeks ago really got to me and I can only imagine how intense it is backwards.

That was a great article. When I saw the highlights of Hamels pitching for the Rangers on Saturday, it seemed so strange to see him wearing a different uniform. I was happy to see the Mets get Cespedes and it looks like it has paid off for them so far. I want the Mets to win the NL East even though they are supposed to be the main rival team for Phillies fans since it would mean the Nationals and Bryce "Where's my ring?" Harper will likely miss the playoffs.

Great article!

As a Mets fan this is the happiest I've been with them in a while.  Watching them sweep the Nationals this past weekend felt really good, especially since the Mets are ahead of them for first now.

As the deadline was coming I was waiting for the shoe to drop for the Mets. It finally did and I thought that was a great move. It was definitely the offensive threat they needed in their depleted lineup. Now it's all about durability in the rotation and bullpen and whether or not the mets have that "playoff DNA" that a team like the Cardinals or Giants has.

As for Hamels, it didn't surprise me all that much. I would have expected LA over Texas, but I think it was a smart move for both teams. Huge prospect pull for Philly, 3 years of a quality, playoff-tested lefty for Texas, who Will eventually get back Yu Darvish, Jurickson Profar, and Derek Holland.

Glad you guys enjoyed the article! I'm probably going to be writing mostly about sports, it's more natural for me. Can't wait to write more!

I can't believe the Giants lost last night at the last minute. So disappointing to see the Cowboys win.

Normally today is my least favorite day of the year, the first day of the offseason except not this year. It's still taking some getting used to realizing there is still 2 months left in the season.

I guess most of the people who contributed a lot to this site have been very busy lately. With guys like JJ and Christian more or less retired, there's really not too many members left. I still hope that one day soon the members of this great community will have enough time in their schedule to post consistently. When this website is full of activity, there is no better place for Great Adventure news on the internet.

Green Lantern: a suitable replacement, but will never be the same. RIP GASM.
