^ You need to be shot

I tried alcatraz too they lost me in the unrealisticness of how the group came together. I was excited for the show cause it stars the main character from the original Jurassic Park, but..... I'm supposed to believe that a secret underground government organization would spill its guts about the missing alcatraz prisoners so easily and then allow some off-beat internet conspiracy theorists to be in on it. No no no. Thats what all of the recent new drama series has really lost me on. I get that the whole show is based around a fictional subject thats not real....but there has to be realisticness for me to be interested....I can't keep going oh well its just a TV show at every turn! JJ abrams is the WORST with this! I tried so hard to get into fringe but he expects his audience to give hiom a pass WAY to much when it comes to realism. Now I was a big fan of X-files that was a show that new how to tight rope walk the fictional storyline but still keep it real. 24 was just the best those writers always remembered every small detail they ever wrote and made sure they never even accidentally lost the real feel and were able to tie all of those small details that not everyone even pays attention to together to make an awesome plot.

Hey JJ, looking through your list, we have really similar taste in TV shows. The only difference is that 24 isn't on my list because it came on/went off a bit before I was mature enough to watch it, so I really need to check it out. South Park is the only show on there that I don't really like. Those adult animated shows get on my nerves, all except The Simpsons.
