So I have actually known this for a good month now but was told it was confidential but seeing as how it is now posted elsewhere sounds like it can now be posted. Fantasy Forest to the right side of the fountain in and around the big wheel is being renamed Adventure Alley for next season. The new rides will be given these names:

- Skyscreamer
- Scrambler
- Air Jumbo = Flying Elephants
- Fender Benders = bumper cars

In a gadv.com exclusive your hearing it first RIGHT HERE! Tornado is being put into the lakefront section and being named: Swashbuckler.

Interesting name! It really fits in with the entire nautical/pirate theme LakeFront has!

How many times has this ride been renamed? Lol. Tornado was a very shortlived name.

Yeah, but it was renamed last year to coincide with the tornado snack sponsorship, so I'm guessing the deal has run out and they wanted a new name for it to match the colors.

I wonder if it'll still be red. It's not a very swashbuckling color. Cool name, still, though.

Keep it red matey. Can a drop tower be added on Spinmeister's spot in 2013 to join the Adventure Alley?

^ While I'd absolutely love a drop tower period, I think it'd fit in better somewhere else in the park. If it were added to SpinMeister's pad, there would be two 200ft+ towers at equal diagonals from the Big Wheel. I feel like that would completely dwarf the wheel and overall make that little area feel cluttered.
Imo, the perfect spot for a drop tower would be in the Super Teepee's old spot. There's a huge slab of concrete there now that's disguised by a few bushes, some benches, and a cooked corn stand. If a drop tower is added there, it would bring a lot of crowds to that area and more people would go to Bizarro, RMT, the log flume, SkyRide, and Best of the West. Plus, with the newly kindled popularity of Frontier Adventures (that's what it's called, right? I feel horrible not knowing, haha), it'd bring up the possibility of expanding the area outward.

I was specifically asked if it was moved to the lakefront and the colors were staying the same what would I name it. I sent seven possibilities and was told everyone LOVED scallywag but unfortunately scallywag has a negative connotation to it so instead they went with swashbuckler....I think it works just fine with the colors.

The swings are going to dominate over the main fountain and the digital sign area.

hI'm glad that they're making it its own area, it was confusing that Fantasy Forest was divided by Main Street. I'm glad that Fantasy Forest is now the Carousel/Teacups/Houdini. Maybe there will be something on tap for that section in the future.

The new rides really didn't fit the whole "Fantasy" theme anyway. I know Adventure Alley is generic, but it's unique to our park and allows for future additions that won't seem out of place in the area unlike other rides(Bizarro -> Frontier, Superman -> Boardwalk, you get the point.) They could tear down the old castle arcade and expand into the Chiller/MTWE area in the near future as well.

Not a big deal but it would have been good to see a different name for the bumper cars since Hershey's bumper cars are already called Fender Bender

I hope to see some new pavement. The cement/rock stuff is really looking poor.
