This topic is for anyone who wants to discuss or talk about the upcoming NBA playoffs. As for me being a Nets fan, I think they have a pretty good chance this year. What are your predictions for the playoffs?

My Phoenix Suns aren't in the playoffs. In fact, they are worst in the West, which equivalent to the 8th seed in the East, but whatever. So my predictions seem to be just me bashing other teams and players I don't like.

First Round:
OKC over Utah (LAL is not making it) 4-1
SA over GS (they'll drop to 7th) 4-0
DEN over HOU 4-3
MEM over LAC 4-2

MIA over MIL 4-0
NYK over BOS 4-1
IND over CHI (pending if Rose returns) 4-3
BKN over ATL 4-2

Semi Finals:
OKC over MEM 4-2
SA over DEN 4-3

MIA over BKN 4-3
NYK over IND 4-2

Conference Finals
West: SA over OKC 4-3

East: NYK over MIA 4-2

Finals (rematch of 1999 NBA Finals)
SA over NYK 4-2

One note: If Rose returns, which may happen, Chicago will make it to conference finals, lose to Miami, however the Finals prediction remains with Spurs winning (probably in 6 or 7)

I have been saying all year that I have a good feeling about the Knicks. I think that this is their year. They are the only team in the East that can beat Miami, and I think they'll do it. The Nets had a magical year (I root for Brooklyn over New York because I grew up in Brooklyn for the first seven years of my life), but unfortunately they run into the Heat in the Semifinals. They'll put up a fight, but as I said above, only the Knicks have the talent to beat Miami. Either way, both the Knicks and the Nets surprised many people with their play this year, and if they keep it up, I believe this will be one of the premier rivalries in the NBA, and both teams will win many championships in the coming years. Of course, the Knicks are the better team right now, and I believe they will win it all this year.

Green Lantern: a suitable replacement, but will never be the same. RIP GASM.
