The only reason the park will overhype the Super Loop and market it as a coaster is because the general public is dumb enough to believe what they are being told by the park. Six Flags isn't dumb, maybe conniving and sneaky, but not dumb. They know a large portion of visitors are tourists. They can market the shiz out of this and churn a total profit simply because it's a new large attraction.
Do I want it in the park? I mean, we can't judge the book by its cover just yet. Yes, it's a carnival ride. But so is a scrambler, which we have. So is a pirate ship, which we have. It may not fit well, but it's a larger scale ride, which we could always use, and it will eat up lines, which will help benefit the park as a whole.
I would have loved to have seen a coaster this year, but sometimes you gotta roll with the punches. I said it before, I would be more upset if we don't get a coaster next year (2016) than I am about getting a "not really a coaster but it's advertised as a coaster" Super Loop. Just suck it up, the media blast will be bs, but who knows, maybe things could work out. If you're really sour, at least we can start speculating once the announcement is made. But for now, just accept it and move on.
