That's really interesting. I think I heard in an old interview with someone from SF corporate at the time that they were watching Colossos carefully, thinking it would work well at Great Adventure. It certainly does! Curious what's going to happen with the twister section exposed now, if they'll build a path around it or leave it inaccessible.

I choose Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point. I'm sorry I keep missing my turn. I don't have a steady work schedule. I'll try to PM my pics to someone.

Green Lantern: a suitable replacement, but will never be the same. RIP GASM.

^i don't think people realize how different that area is going to look next year without rolling thunder's station. I see a pathway that leads behind the water play area to connect with the gk then some vegetation with a fence preventing access to the toro twister section

That sounds pretty likely. It's too bad though, being able to see the twister section would be pretty cool up close. I don't imagine there's enough space there for a flat/exhibit of any kind, so unless they are saving it for future expansion, it would be nice if they developed it and allowed guests to get up close, unlike Kingda Ka.

^Much of Toro's layout was inspired by Colossos. Though it seems like those who have ridden both like Toro better.

Theyre almost exactly the same til the twister section of el toro where it was squeezed into rolling thunders layout. And colossos's turn around stays to the right of the layout and doesnt cross back over the track.

What i heard is that toro's drops and hills are far more steeper and its drop is much higher which creates better airtime then on colossos

Gosh thanks for supporting my park guys. Lol
