The elaborate hand-carved 1910 carousel gracing Casino Beach Pier in Seaside Heights survived Hurricane Sandy and the devastating fire of 2013, but it is at risk of being broken up and auctioned off piece by piece if a buyer does not step forward to save it. As sad as this is, perhaps something else may be the works here. As far I know, Seaside has never had a woodie to its name. Here's some food for thought....do you think the area currently occupied by the carousel is large enough to house the station for a future woodie?

It seems unlikely a buyer will save it since they can get so much more selling it piece by piece. A new wooden coaster or any coaster would be nice to see if they have the room.

They don't. Casino Pier will have to do a lot of moving around to make space for a wooden coaster, and they do not have the ability to build on the beach outside of the dimensions of their pier.
