I heard these when I was at the park Thursday:

Ticket Lady: You guys are lucky to be here today, there's a new rollercoaster opening today"
Guy: "Yeah, Batman & Robin"

-"Do you want to go on that one (pointing to El Toro), or that one (pointing to Rolling Thunder)"
-"There the same thing"

And the worst I heard that day from a GP

Guy1: Do you want to go on the Dark Knight now (while pointing to it)?
Guy2: Dark Knight? What are you talking about? That's the chiller still but they just put a big building around it to make it a dark coaster.

Today in line for Rolling Thunder:

Me: Um excuse me what exactly do you think you are doing?

Lady: Well were going to the back because it looks like your waiting for the front.

Me: What are you talking about the front is that way. (Pointing in the other direction)

This morning I went out to get bagels with my dad and the girl at the counter asked us if we have gone on vacation this summer yet. We said yes and then she said. Oh cool on monday im going to Kuh-noebels (She ment Knoebels).

I didnt bother to correct her but thats just plain stupidity if you dont know that in English Kn = N

"Kuh-noebels" is the correct pronunciation of Knoebels. If it wasn't, why did ALL THE EMPLOYEES say it that way when I went there?

I say Kuh-noebels. Even if it's wrong it sounds better than "noe-bels".

I can't find the old one I posted last year, so I just made this one. I can't remember the good ones ive heard so far, just one from today.

I was walking and a park employee actually asked me where the entrance to the Dark Knight was. I said its right near Batman: the Ride and I told him he should know that he works there, but he said he didn't work in that section. Still seemed really weird, not knowing where the brand new ride is. LOL

That is just plain stupid, when you go through your training they make you memorize the park, partially.

And I have a good one, I was getting off of my lunch break one day and lindsey was walking me and my till to 10 below, when we passed a boy and his dad and the dad looked at the boy and said " Man they have been building this coaster for years, wonder when they will get done" little boy- "i dont know".

BTW: This was when chiller was going through deconstruction.

Today at KK, some people were discussing why the track spirals down. Their conclusion? "I guess it's to keep the train from falling off the track"

Lol..There are some funny quotes up there, sadly my entire family(and most of my friends) is considered....GP! Lol, Im the only one that rides the coasters, and knows a bit about them, verses my mom or sister that know squat..Lol...anyway...

Me-"It would be cool if Kingda Ka maybe had somesort of inversion"
Sister-"It does, it corkscrews down!"
Me-"*laughs hysterically* Thats a spiral".

My Mom-*pointing at Batman* "does this one have lap bars"?
~Mind you she was there when Batman 1st opened!..Lol..She is a coaster nut, but knows nothing about them, and cant remember anything about them.~

~Walking by El Toro~
Mom-*looking at the lift hill* "Oh my god!..Is that the drop!?"
Me-"....No...Do you not see the turn before the lift hill starts and the massive drop next to the lift?"

My friend-"Mike, how many turns does Medusa have?"
My Friend-"Yeah, turns."...*doing flippy hand motion*
Me-"OH, you mean inversions!".

~Online for Nitro, some guy talking about Kingda Ka and El Toro.
Guy-"Oh my god, Kingda Ka's drop is like, straight down!!..You go over the top, and youre like..going straight down! And El Toros straight down drop is amazing!"

My sister-*trying to sound like she knows about GA*-"Whats cool about SF is every coaster is something different!. Medusa has no floor, Kingda Ka is huge, El Toro with its big drop and (ready?) Scream Machine with its 12 loops.".... :LMAO:

And some other ones I cant remember correctly:
Little brother and sister thought they call them headchoppers because you can REALLY get your head chopped off.
Some guy online for Kingda Ka asking if Nitro is taller.
In line for Scream Machine, some guy was asking."I hear the big green one is fun!".
Dummies fell out of Kingda Ka(so many stores like that.)
A dummy fell out of El Toro and crashed into a main support.
A piece of Scream Machines track fell off.

So many GP.......................~sigh~

Mike..

From today:

-kid pointing at GASM: "did you go on Superman yet?"

while waiting in line for Nitro on the top of the stairs, where almost the entire ride is completely visible:
-little girl: "does this one have loops?"
-mom: "nope."
-little girl: "promise???"

Not really a quote but my friend thought the park opened at 6 am so he expected me to wake up at 4 in the morning and go to his house so we can get there before the rope drops (hour and a half ride from where I live).

From Hersheypark:

-"Yeah you see that red one over there (points to Storm Runner)?"

-"It runs on Nitro Glycerin"

Not the funniest, but it's the only thing I can remember right now.

Yesterday i was talking to someone on aim about kingda ka.
I told them to guess how fast kida ka goes. I told them, they they said "it would need to go faster then how tall it is to make it over the top"
in other words, it would need to go over 456mph

^ haha...I love it when people don't know what they are talking about.

I also heard a guy talking about how Storm Runner was the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster...I really haven't had many encounters with people who don't know what they're talking about; that might have to change soon.

My favorite one occured while in line for Nitro some years back. It's not about coasters or anything, just something I overheard:

Kid: "Smoking newspaper will f--- you up."

At Dorney a few weeks ago, there were these two teenage girls on Thunderhawk.

Girl:"OMG this is going to be awesome!"

Her friend:"What? This coaster is wooden? I thought we were on that one!" Points to Voodoo
