In one year, Six Flags Great Adventure added a world-record breaking roller coaster, a world-class animal exhibit and an 11-acre new themed section. By far, 2005 was one of the park's largest expansions ever due mostly to The Golden Kingdom.

Kingda Ka, a hydraulic launch roller coaster, passed Cedar Point's Top Thrill Dragster to become the tallest and fastest in the world. Tempe of the Tiger is a world-class show featuring exciting Tigers. To round it all out, Balin's Jungleland provides entertainment for the kids.

The Golden Kingdom takes you into a different world. You suddenly leave New Jersey and enter Africa. The details that were put into the themeing will entertain you for hours and the new section quieted critics who complain that the park's rides don't have enough themeing. The Golden Kingdom sits in the former location of legendary children's section, Bugs Bunny Land, but it creates a new legend and world class entertainment for years to come.
