• After years of park fans hoping for it, the Great Adventure History Museum opened in July of 2014. It ran throughout the month, with new items constantly added to the already large and diverse collection of artifacts and memorabilia. It was open 12-4 everyday until July 28th(after an extension of two weeks due to it's popularity) and was run by park historian Harry Applegate. The museum was located in the red tent, one of the parks original "larger than life" structures, whiich is only appropriate for the exhibit.
